This is a board with a Yamaha YMF825 (SD-1) mounted on it. The SD-1 is a 4-operator, 16-voice polyphonic FM synthesizer chip. Its registers can be controlled directly by SPI. The board has a crystal unit. The chip has a DAC and an amplifier. You can generate sound by only manipulating the registers.

The Breakout Board has a digital MEMS MIC SPH0641LU4H-1 made by Knowles. The MEMS MIC is able to apply for ultrasonic sensors and ultrasonic communications. The pin pitch is 2.54 mm, 0.1 inch. The MEMS MIC enables to receive wide range sound from audible frequency to ultrasonic (100 Hz-80 kHz).

TouchMIDI is a board outputs MIDI via USB when capacitance touch sensors are touched. Firmware is already written to this board, so you can utilize it for making your original MIDI controller project only soldering electrodes.
