Ultra-low power consumption color reflective LCD module from JDI (Japan Display Inc.). Introduction of proprietary reflective color technology made it possible for you to enjoy clear visibility even under the direct sunlight. Communication method and size are SPI and 1.28 model respectively.
Power consumption has been significantly reduced compared to transmissive LCDs without back light.Also adopting MIP (Memory in pixel) technology allows to built in SRAM in each pixel, still images can be displayed continuously without input. These features allow up to 99% lower power consumption than transmissive LCDs.
On the other hand it is difficult to see in the dark due to no light emitting element. Carefully choose the location to install and, if necessary, apply illumination from the front (such as white LED).
To use this LCD, you need to prepare a connector (Hirose Electric FH28-10S-0.5SH). This item include the connector now, but we will plan NOT to add it in the near future. Then please buy it separately.
There is a protective film with a red line on the display surface. Remove it before use.
