eVY1 Shield adds eVocaloid system to your Arduino. You can make use of an integrated version of the VOCALOID, Yamaha singing voice synthesizer, module in NSX Series.
You can control the shield on Arduino through the serial port. It has a jumper pin for switching serial port type (hardware or software). If you switch JP2 to "1" side, you can use hardware serial port (D1pin), and if you switch to "3" side, you can use software serial port (D3pin).
You can use it as a USB-MIDI device, if you connect it to a PC through a micro USB cable. In that case, it is unnecessary to be soldered pin headers.
This version is not soldered. If you want to connect to Arduino, you need to solder pin headers. We also sell "with pin header" version.
