BD6211F Motor Driver Breakout
This ROHM BD6211F-mounted Motor Driver Breakout is a simple, easy-to-handle, and ultra-small H-bridge motor driver for DC brush motor applications. Pulse width modulated (PWM) signal and Power MOSFET can lower energy consumption.
Features:
- H bridge: normal rotation, reverse, brake, idle running
- Pulse width modulated (PWM) signal and reference voltage can be applied to change the velocity
- Operating Voltage: 3.3 V to 5 V
- Peak output current: 1 A (Please be careful of radiation due to continuous use)
- Power supply: 1 phase (It is not separated to signal and loading. However, logical input is "1" at 2 V, regardless of power voltage. Therefore, power voltage can be decided at equal level of motor voltage. Please do not to input voltage higher than power voltage.
- PWM controller, power MOSFET: Highly efficient and lesser loss
- Thermal design: ON resistor=1.5Ω, thermal resistor=182℃/W, Chip temperature=under 150℃
How to:
Logical input value is high if input is over 2 V.
When controlled by PWM:
FIN | RIN | motion |
---|---|---|
low | low | standby |
PWM | low | forward |
low | PWM | reverse |
high | high | brake |
When controlled by VREF:
FIN | RIN | motion |
---|---|---|
low | low | standby |
high | low | forward |
low | high | reverse |
high | high | brake |
